Module 1: Introduction to the audit profession (6 academic hours)

  • The role of an auditor and assistant: responsibilities and teamwork.
  • Ethics and independence: working under the IESBA international code.

Module 2: Financial statements
and accounting (8 academic hours)

  • Financial statement structure: reading and analysis.
  • Accounting basics for auditors.
  • Risk map: where errors most often occur in reporting.

  • How to interact: working with the client’s information base and accounting team.
